- Carrying out performance and structural calculations, producing 3D models and supporting documentation as part of development and sustainment projects.
- Lead the design and development of mechanical components and systems.
- Create detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Produce 3D models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation.
- Communicate with customers to gain an understanding of what alterations they need to make and how that can happen.
- Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Proficient in using CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles and best practices.
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Work independently and in a team environment.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
