    Our client, who are one of the UK's leading residential developers, are looking for a Construction Planner to join their regional team. Based out of their West London development, you would be responsible for overseeing 3 projects, 2 in current development and the other in pre-construction phase.

    All three projects are mid to high rise multi-phase RC frame developments and the selected candidate will be reporting directly into the Construction Director.

    The successful candidate will have strong skills in the following areas: Planning construction works including, but not limited to, Project Execution Plans in particular construction methodology, site logistics, labour histograms, planning pre-construction activities, assisting with procurement strategies, chairing preconstruction meetings with 3rd parties, monitoring and reviewing activities across multiple disciplines. Customer first approach to all activities.

    The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication and have the ability to converse planning works to all levels – from specialist contractors through to Project/Commercial and Technical Directors.

    Key requirements: The successful candidate is likely to have the following experience: Worked as part of a large House Builder organisation at least at a middle or senior management level and a proven track record in completing schemes on time to a high quality whilst achieving above industry standards in SHE results within agreed commercial constraints.

    It is essential the selected candidate has employment history with a main contractor or developer with a significant period within the Residential Construction sector and over 5 years experience as a Planner.

    The successful candidate is likely to have the following Qualifications: A construction related degree, CSCS professional card, attended the following courses 'Introduction to Asta Power Project', 'Managing Costs and Resources with Asta Power Project' and 'Progress Analysis and Reporting with Asta Powerproject'.
