    Chief Marketing Officer – B2B Publishing - London - 6 Month Contract (Full Time)

    Hybrid working (c2-3 days per week in Central London office)

    Fixed Term Contract - PAYE (£six figure package) - strong possibility of extension or turning permanent

    *You must have strong B2B publishing (subscriptions and events) experience to be considered for this role*

    Amazing opportunity to join this fast-growing London based B2B Publishing brand as an interim CMO, taking a lead role in creating and delivering the marketing roadmap for international subscriptions and events.

    Leading a small marketing team across their Subscription products and Events portfolio (c4-5 international conferences, awards and seminars), you will help drive new subscriptions and delegate/sponsorship revenues.

    There will also be opportunities to travel to the events.

    Required Experience:

    • Experience as a CMO or Senior Marketing Director at a successful B2B subscriptions and events business
    • Strong experience in B2B publishing, subscriptions and events
    • Strategic, entrepreneurial thinker, with strong leadership skills
    • Proven experience of building and managing multi-skilled marketing teams
    • Experience in corporate re-branding projects
    • Proven experience of delivering marketing-led results in B2B information businesses
    • Demonstrable experience growing inbound leads linked to sales targets
    • Subscription Lead Gen and Event Marketing
    • Demonstrable experience with successful marketing campaigns and digital technologies (e.g. digital advertising, social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM)
    • Expertise of CRM and Marketing Automation software (preferably Hubspot and Salesforce)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leading and managing a marketing team of 5 across Subscription products and Events
    • Working with the CEO and Executive Management Team to develop and execute a high growth marketing strategy
    • Identifying and recruiting new skill sets to grow the team
    • Setting clear goals and expectations and evaluating team performance regularly.
    • Designing and implementing new marketing strategies that align with business strategy and targets
    • Leading marketing to support sales targets for events and digital
    • Developing the lead generation strategy for subscription new business
    • Leading the launch of our new company and product brand strategy
    • Reporting key metrics to the CEO and Board
    • Developing the events as a funnel for subscription lead generation
    • Develop top quality go-to-market materials for all products
    • Collaborating with editorial, event, sales, research and product development teams
    • Ensure effective management of CRM and marketing automation systems
