    Job Title:

    AssociateLocation: ManchesterSalary: £60k - c£70k DOEWe are newly recruiting for an Employment Associate to join our client's team in Manchester.

    This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a Chambers UK and Legal 500 ranked team, working with some of the most experienced professionals in the field.


    Responsibilities:
    Represent our client's organisation in Employment Tribunal claims, primarily acting for Respondents.
    Assist employers in managing workplace issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, restructuring, and redundancies.
    Provide employment law support in corporate deals and outsourcing contracts, including contract drafting and client training.
    Enforce post-termination restrictive covenants.
    Draught employment-related documents such as contracts of employment, consultancy agreements, staff handbooks, settlement agreements, and more.


    We are looking for:
    A Qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year PQE in an employer-focused employment law team.
    A forward thinker with excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
    Someone who is self-motivated and can manage workloads and deadlines effectively.

    Commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the practise area and sector focus.

    Ability to understand the client's business needs and act in their best interests.
    Ambitious and enthusiastic team player, able to support senior fee earners and contribute to a collaborative culture.
