Working for this educational instituation, the successful Purchase Ledger Assistant will be offered free parking, flexible working hours, and the chance to add value to upcoming projects within a friendly team, largely supporting the Accounts Payable function.
This role would suit an organised individual who can hit the ground running with previous experience in a similar sector.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintain office filing
- Raise purchase orders from purchase requisitions
- Good receipt orders when applicable
- Process invoices and staff expenses
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Ensure no expenditure is incurred without proper authorisation and systems are being followed
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role such as: Purchase Ledger Clerk / Purchase Ledger Administrator / Accounts Payable Clerk / Payables Administrator / Finance Clerk / Finance Administrator/ Finance Assistant / Accounts Clerk / Accounts Administrator /Accounts Assistant
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Experience in using Sage is an advantage but not essential
- Excellent accuracy and an eye for detail
