- Brilliant pay rate £22.95ph (Including night shift premium) basic salary of £54,896
- Hours Mon- Thur 6.30pm-6.15am
- Support the quality team with dimensional and weld visual inspections
- Complete 100% dimensional inspections of fabricated structural steel against drawings prior to being welded
- Use of manual measuring equipment including laser levels, bevel boxes tape measures and protractors
- Have a full understanding of WPS documents and the preparation required for joint configuration
- Problem solve, correcting any defects
- Logging internal NCR's
- Complete inspection reports
- Time served apprentice trained Fabricator / Plater
- Have experience of dimensional inspecting , ideally within a structural steel environment
- Previous experience of fabricating / plating in a structural or heavy steel environment desirable but not essential
- Excellent understanding of SOP's and Fabrication drawings and tolerances
- Good IT skills
