    As well as strategic direction and implementation of service developments the Clinical Nursing Manager will be responsible for the line management of staff including supervision, appraisal and continued professional development to ensure the team are operating at the highest of standards and within local and national guidelines, with a commitment to the delivery of care strategies that are focussed on assuring the individual needs of older People.

    The Clinical Nurse Manager will manage a team of frontline staff and act as the senior nursing point of contact. The successful post holder will be responsible for the operational management previous experience is essential to this role.

    The successful post holder will lead by example to create a supportive, compassionate, and caring culture.

    You must demonstrate highly effective communication and interpersonal skills as a core component of your ability to lead and work as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team. In addition, you must have a proven track record in leading or supporting improvement in the clinical environment.

    The role will report directly to the Associate Locality Manager for Specialist Services which is hosted within Dundee Health & Social Care Partnership.

    Applicants should be registered on either Part 1 or Part 12 of the UK NMC Register, with extensive post – registration experience and be able to demonstrate expert clinical knowledge and professional practice preferably within Older People/ Medicine for the Elderly setting.
