    Description

    Temporary Democracy and Elections Officer to provide maternity cover. The post will support the Council's decision making process and clerk the school admission appeals.

    The post will support the Council's decision making process, organising the meetings, advising the public and members, attending meetings either in person or using MS Teams advising the Chair during the meeting of procedures etc. The post will also be required to clerk School Admission Appeals, and also provide meeting and technical support for other members of the team.

    As part of the Democratic Services Team, there will also be the opportunity to be involved in civic events, support Chester Town Hall events and elections, particularly the Parliamentary election which will be held during the duration of this contract.

    It is anticipated that interviews will take place on Tuesday May , although this is subject to change.
