Description
A buyer will need to align all actions with the engineering and the procurement team, understanding the specification, preparing tenders, searching of potential suppliers.
Tendering packages in the region of 10,000,000 + per annum. Searching mainly for newsuppliers, with an aerospace background, also design to spec. with EN 9100.- Supplier market analyses
- Running calls for tenders with processes and tools
- Selection and development of new suppliers
- Strategic supplier management
- Preparation, negotiation and conclusion of framework contracts
- Procurement controlling and monitoring
- Close coordination with internal consumer
- Prepare make or buy decisions
- Implementation of customer requirements
Required education:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration
Desirable skills:
SAP R/3 and MS Office
- Indepth knowledge of procurement, preferably in the aviation sector
- Experience in concluding contracts (in English)
- Very good (businessfluent) knowledge of English
- Ability to work in a team
- Advanced communication skill
- Intercultural experiences
