Quality Inspector, Salary:
Up to £34,700 per annum, Location: Weymouth, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 39 hours per week

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Inspector to join an expanding company in Yeovil that works with the aerospace, defence, and commercial sectors.

In this role, you will work closely with a team of passionate individuals to ensure that all machined and fabricated components meet both client and company standards.

As a Quality Inspector, you will use your extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes to perform the following responsibilities:

Conducting First Off Inspections
Performing In Process and Roaming Inspections
Completing Pre- and Post-Treatment Inspections
Conducting Goods In Inspections
Performing Final Inspections
Producing First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a similar role within a machined and fabricated environment.

Additionally, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

Proficiency in using handheld measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, height gauges, comparators, and thread gauges
Prior experience in quality assurance within the aerospace industry
An understanding of tolerances
The ability to write detailed reports (FAIR to AS9102)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
