Hampton's are working in partnership with an "outstanding" children's residential provider who have had an exciting Registered Manager vacancy arise for their brand new home in Rotherham.

The home will care for up to 3 young people and will specialise in LD.

up to £46,000 + £2000 welcome bonus_

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Manage and supervise a team of care staff, ensuring they are trained and motivated to provide excellent care to the children.
  • Develop and implement care plans for each child, ensuring their emotional and behavioural needs are met.
  • Maintain excellent communication with the children, their families, and external agencies involved in their care.
  • Ensure the efficient management of the home's budget, resources, and staffing levels.
  • Undertake recruitment, performance management, and disciplinary procedures for staff members.
  • Conduct regular audits, reviews, and assessments to ensure that the home is operating effectively.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as local authorities, social workers, and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for the children.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with the children and their families, providing support and guidance where needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children
  • Have at least two years in a role supervising staff
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Or equivalent)
  • Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or be prepared to acquire within 2 years
  • Full driving licence is essential
  • To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people
  • Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour
  • Flexibility around the rota, covering when needed.
