Role:
Infrastructure Engineer.

Salary:
up to £45,000

Location:
Glasgow or Gosport 2 days per week.

Requirements:
Security clearance level SC (Required to be in the UK for 5 Years or more).

We are looking for someone with infrastructure engineering or support commercial experience.

You will be bringing commercial experience within distributed systems environments regarding issues relating to servers, local services, data centre's, server configuration, andensuring client requirements are met.

What you'll be doing:

Provide configuration management, inventory management, fault management, and trouble management support on already established Wintel servers and desktop devices
Support periodic maintenance and upgrades of Wintel computer environments
Requirements definition, specification, design, development, and integration of Microsoft Windows systems and on projects
Test integrates maintain, and address escalated problems related to Wintel systems
Provide configuration management, inventory management, fault management, and trouble management support on already established servers or networks
Support maintenance and upgrades of Wintel computer environments
Perform risk and consequence assessment for projects

What you'll bring:

Experience in Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, Active Directory, Citrix, VMware
Experience working with systems management frameworks, protocols, and tools including SCCM
Organisation skills to balance and prioritize work
Communication skills to interact with Management, team members, and support staff
Skilled in integrating distributed computing hardware and software systems
Ability to work in a team environment that will include providing oncall support
Willingness to travel must have full driving licence
