    Business Development Director – Healthcare Advisory ( 12 month FTC)

    KPMG is a leading supplier of Healthcare Advisory services in the UK and globally.

    In addition to meeting sustained Advisory demand in the UK, we are increasingly being sought out to collaborate with other KPMG firms in our global network to deliver Healthcare Advisory work intentionally - exporting our extensive UK capability to other healthcare economies.

    The Middle East, in particular, is seeing rapid investment in transforming public healthcare, with clients seeking to secure the best advice from around the globe to deliver world leading, technology enabled models of care.

    To help us to manage this demand, an exciting new role is being introduced. An experienced Healthcare Advisory leader is required to join the UK team, leading the development of our UK presence in the Middle East, primarily in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    Practically, this means that:

  • You will based in the UK and part of our UK Health Advisory team.
  • You will spend the first month of your contract in the UK developing relationships with our UK Proposition Leads, Business Development and Account Management community and marketing team and building your understanding of our UK capability.
  • During this time you will also work virtually with your counterparts in our Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Lower Gulf firms to understand the local market, strategy, local capability and where KPMG in the UK can add value.
  • After this you will travel, for a few weeks a month, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (and UAE as necessary) to work alongside colleagues from local KPMG firms to engage with clients and shape and resource opportunities, ensuring that local firms and clients are able to access our extensive UK capability.
  • We want passionate, articulate, driven people to join our team and help us to grow our brand, reputation, and market share. This is a high-profile role, reporting directly to the Head of Health Consulting in the UK to help establish the corridor between KPMG UK, KPMG in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia. It requires a balance of strategy development, business development, sales origination and account management and is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking for the scope to build and shape a business, with the support of a highly experienced and well-regarded team.

    The role is for an initial 12 month FTC .

    Role and Responsibilities:

    Your role will be to help create a sales corridor for KPMG UK in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, working closely with KPMG KSA, the Ministry of Health, and other key buyers. More specifically you will:

  • Identify specific market opportunities where KPMG UK can help KPMG KSA meet its clients' requirements and win in the market.
  • Work with the UK Head of Health Consulting to ensure the best of KPMG UK is brought to the market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
  • Advise the UK Head of Health Consulting, UK Head of Health and Board of KPMG in the UK on the market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Working with the UK Head of Health you will seek to build relationships in the market and develop our understanding of the market need and opportunities for KPMG
  • Build our relationships and market understanding
  • Develop a multi-year growth plan which identifies priority clients, stakeholders, and propositions and which creates a pipeline of qualified sales engagements supported by subject matter experts around the business.
  • Advise key personnel from KPMG UK on what must be true to achieve the multi-year growth plan
  • Work closely with the UK Head of Health Consulting and others
  • Identify specific marketing and industry focused opportunities to grow the KPMG brand and reputation in this area, and increase our market visibility of successes through scalable social media campaigns, and the publication of thought leadership articles and / or blogs
  • Lead sales origination efforts for this area through client engagement and by increasing the opportunity for KPMG to work with clients and solve their business challenges
  • Develop peer relationships with client directors and senior management, and together with the KPMG Government CLPs and Directors build C-suite level connections
  • Work with our proposition leads to position them and you as a 'voice in the market' demonstrating industry subject matter expert (SME) in healthcare transformation. You'll also provide input to the proposition leads to ensure our offers are fit for purpose and market leading in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
