The MSK Physioworks are recruiting to the position of a Staff Podiatrist, 10 hours per week, working across multiple sites (RHH, NGH and Community).


The MSK Care Group at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a service for both inpatient and outpatient care for the entire adult population of Sheffield.

The services include Orthopaedics, Rheumatology, Pain Management, Metabolic Bone, Hand Centre, PhysioWorks, Staff Physiotherapy Service, MSK Hospital based Therapy Services and Podiatric Surgery.


This post is within the Physioworks Service which would suit those with biomechanical and orthotic prescription experience in the treatment of MSK disorders of the lower limb who wish to further their knowledge as well as join a team committed to learning and developing.


  • Accountable for the delivery of highquality Podiatric care within a clinical area or pathway
  • Responsible for delivering expert clinical practice with specialist clinical reasoning.
  • Contribute to providing clinical leadership and support to develop staff within their remit.
  • Contribute to evaluation and development of clinical practice within the specialism ensuring compliance with National and local guidelines and frameworks
  • Contribute to service improvement and development of the clinical area or pathway.
