    Job summary

    Junior Clinical Fellow in Vascular Access and Transplantation Surgery

    Applications are invited for the post of clinical fellow in Vascular Access and Transplantation surgery. This post will be suitable for a candidate who wants to develop their knowledge and skills in vascular access surgery with additional benefit of learning about renal and transplant surgery. The post holder will be heavily involved in pre-opt clinics, operative surgery and post opt care including vascular access MDT's. In addition the post will entail participating in renal transplant surgery and laparoscopic live donor nephrectomy at St George's Healthcare NHS trust and St Helier hospital All transplants are currently performed on the St George's site. The surgeons are responsible for providing renal transplantation and renal surgery for St George's hospital, St Helier hospital and the Royal Sussex county hospital. The post is available for one year.

    A requirement for the positions is registration with the General Medical Council. Applicants should be suitably qualified and meet all the specifications as stated.
