With an inspirational MD at the helm and reporting to the Head of HR, you will:
    • Represent 1st line HR Generalist Advisor for the site
    • Participate in recruitment and selection
    • Advise and guide line management on grievances and disciplinaries
    • Work closely with Head of HR to identify and update policies and procedures in line with changes in employment law
    • Ensure leadership team adheres to policies and processes
    • Actively keep updated with changes in employment law and share knowledge with colleagues
    • Build strong relationships across the organisation
    • Organise, facilitate and administer events relating to HR function such as training and benefits related employee sessions
    • Together with HR colleagues at other sites, contribute to HR projects
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency across the business
    • Suggest fresh ideas for improved ways of working in the HR team and take a lead on implementing them
    • Occasional travel to another site to assist with workload
    • Data entry and management of HRIS data, payroll data and employee records
    • Gather and analyse data relating to all HR metrics, reporting and developing actions
    • Manage yearly archiving, maintaining archive systems in line with GDPR

    We are looking for a candidate:

    • Educated to Degree level and at least CIPD Level 5 qualified
    • Good understanding of Employment Law and its application to HR policies and procedures
    • Confidently use initiative and make decisions
    • Has credibility to be recognised by the leadership team as the main point of contact for providing HR advice and guidance
    • Can prioritise employee issues and problems involving Head of HR only where necessary and appropriate
    • Ensure all aspects of HR administration and processes are completed timeously and to a high degree of accuracy
    • Enjoys working in a fast paced, pressurised environment
    • Excellent attention to detail, highly organised with good time management skills, well able to meet deadlines
    • Constantly seeks continuous improvement for customer and business
    • Sound IT skills
