~ This Critical Facilities Technician Skillbridge program aims to provide transitioning active-duty service members with specialized training and experiences in critical facilities management. In this 6-month program, you will learn all our critical infrastructure facilities' maintenance, operation, and optimization, ensuring their reliability and performance and preparing you for a civilian career in fields such as data center, telecommunications, power generation, and other industries that rely on mission-critical infrastructure.
Facility Management:
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on critical facility equipment, including HVAC systems, electrical distribution systems, and backup power systems.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Monitor critical facility systems and respond promptly to alarms or issues
Preventative Maintenance:
Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of critical systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment logs, and facility
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, facility managers, and external vendors, to ensure seamless operation and address facility-related challenges.
Experience in facility maintenance, engineering, or a related field.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
Ability to work at a computer desk for the entirety of the working day
