    Finance Business PartnerDo you have experience within manufacturing?Have you got experience of working as a Finance Business Partner or similar?Are you a qualified accountant?MacGregor Black is delighted to partner with a FMCG business in their search for a Finance Business Partner.

    This is a permanent position based in Bradford with remote/hybrid working available.

    As the Finance Business Partner will play a critical role in managing the financial operations specific to the manufacturing processes.

    This role will involve analysing manufacturing costs, monitoring inventory levels, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making within the organisation.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Cost Analysis:
    Analyse manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labour, and overheads, to ensure accuracy and identify areas for cost optimisation

    Inventory Management:
    Oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation processes, ensuring accurate recording of inventory levels and cost of goods sold (COGS)

    Variance Analysis:
    Conduct variance analysis to compare actual manufacturing costs against budgeted costs and investigate any discrepancies

    Financial Reporting:
    Prepare and present financial reports related to manufacturing operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

    Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Assist in the development of manufacturing budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights to support strategic planning and decision-making

    Process Improvement:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction initiatives within the manufacturing operations

    Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures in all manufacturing-related financial activities

    Ad-Hoc Analysis:
    Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and provide decision support to senior management as needed.
    What we are looking for?Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
    Proven experience as an Accountant within the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
    Proficiency in financial reporting and financial analysis tools.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    A proactive and results-oriented approach to problem-solving.
