Contract to start on until with a possible extension.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To support the development and coordination of the operational implementation of the EHCP review process.
To carry out and maintain accurate and timely records and work processes in the team including use of relevant IT systems.
To undertake the role of SEN Review Officer by:

Actively working with parents/carers, children, young people and families to explain about EHC review process and guide them through the process

Attending reviews for children and young people with EHCPs,as required

Writing and amending EHC plans

Work closely with families, schools and a range of service providers, including education, health, social care and voluntary sectors.
Ensure that the client complies with the statutory timetable for the completion of statutory reviews.
Support the facilitation of meaningful, personcentred reviews of existing Education, Health and Care Plans.
Model best practice in accordance with part 3 of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the supporting code of practice.

Salary:
£16.57 per hour
