- Supporting the GC in providing legal advice and counsel to the key senior stakeholders on a broad range of legal matters, including contracts, commercial transactions, employment law, data privacy, intellectual property and regulatory compliance. Also involvement in potential disputes.
- Co Sec support (not essential to have as experience can be gained in role)
- Responsible for the day-to-day managing and supervising of a junior lawyer
- Training - designing and delivering training on legal and regulatory matters
- Involvement in managing external legal relationships with law firms and other advisors
- Proactively identifying and mitigating legal risks
- Staying up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations, ensuring the organisation remains compliant.
- Helping to develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
