A Full-time vacancy has opened to join our front of house Radiology (X-Ray) clerical team at St Albans City Hospital.

Duties include welcoming all patients and service users to the department.

Booking patients in for their examinations and directing to the relevant sub waiting areas. Arranging X-ray, Ultrasound, and other appointments.

Answering telephone queries and other general clerical duties.


The duties and responsibilities of the post holder are to be an effective member of the Radiology administration team, providing a high standard of imaging service to our patients and Radiology staff colleagues.

To rotate around various areas of the Radiology Department, i.e. Reception, Ultrasound Appointments Office, Maternity Ultrasound, Image Transfers and CD burning.


This post is ideal for strong communicators who enjoy being part of a close-knit team, whilst maintaining wider professional relationships with many disciplines within the hospital.

These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.
