FPS are recruting for Mobile Technicians (Environmental) to start with one of the UK's largest contractors on a permanent basis.

To carry out the following works in accordance with the requirements of ACOP L8, BS6700 and the Water Supply (Water Fittings)

Regulations:

• Hot and cold water temperature monitoring

Water sampling
Tank and down water services disinfections/chlorination
Drawing of water systems schematics and the preparation and completion of job sheets
TMV Testing
Improvements/upgrading of domestic systems to fall within A.Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments and carrying out monitoring for the control of legionella
Additional duties such as inspections of water storage tanks, hot water boilers and air conditioning systems

Use of PDA and computer literate
A good mechanical aptitude
Ability to be a self starter within a team environment and lone working
Must be capable of working in confined spaces/at height
Background in legionella Control with several years' experience in site monitoring and testing
Understand all the legal requirements
Must live in Central area, Scotland or willing to relocate

Water sampling and testing experience
Salary - £25k-£30k + Van and Fuel Card
