    General Assistant

    Canterbury Cross, Birchfield. B203AA

    10 hours per week Pro rata/term time only working times are Monday - Friday term time only between 10am to 2pm, including 3 cleaning days in school holidays and 5 teacher training days

    As a General Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking meals for pupils
  • Planning and controlling all aspects of the service
  • Assist keeping the kitchen clean & tidy.
  • Setting up the dinning areas for lunch/ serving the pupil's lunch
  • To be aware of the care users' needs and dietary preferences including allergens
  • You will work collaboratively with managers and supervisors to ensure the first-class delivery of food in school's kitchens.

    Previous kitchen experience is essential to this role
