    We're on the lookout for a Proposition Manager to join our Proposition team.

    The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Proposition Strategy in the design and delivery of propositional developments. In particular, this role will have a focus on enhancing our proposition for non-advised customers. You will be responsible for developing and managing the proposition strategy and initiatives aimed at addressing the needs of customers who no longer have a financial adviser.

    You will also be involved in broader propositional development, including initiatives that enable adviser firms to provide advice more efficiently in order to deliver great outcomes customers.

    To design and implement propositional developments, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including insight, distribution, operational, and technology teams, ensuring developments meet the needs of our customers as well as contribute to business growth.

    You'll spend your time:

  • Non-advised proposition: working closely with the Head of Proposition Strategy to develop and manage our non-advised customer proposition, aligning it with business objectives, the future roadmap, and our customer-centric approach.
  • Customer analysis: Conduct research and analysis to understand the specific needs, preferences, and pain points of non-advised customers. Utilising customer insights to inform the proposition development and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Proposition development: Create propositions, products, and services meeting the needs of our customers. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as technology, marketing, and customer service teams, to ensure the effective implementation and delivery of these propositions.
  • Planning and collaboration: Work closely with a range of stakeholders to develop a roadmap that supports the delivery of the commercial plan.
  • Performance analysis: Monitor, evaluate, and report the performance of the proposition, tracking key metrics and analysing data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to drive positive outcomes.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with compliance requirements, ensuring our propositions and activities adhere to regulations
  • Market awareness: Keeping up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Apply market insights to enhance our proposition so we maintain a competitive edge.

    We've always placed more importance on cultural contribution above technical ability, but we'd really like you to have/be:

  • Proven track record in proposition management, product development, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven with a keenness to learn and the ability to work in a fast-paced, developing team.
  • In-depth knowledge of investment platforms, financial products, and services, particularly in the context of direct customers.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and behaviours in financial planning, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Skilled presenter with the ability to create presentations and explain complex material in a simple manner.
  • A degree and / or relevant professional certifications are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and design solutions for customers.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the financial services industry.
