We're developing real-time, photorealistic digital humans who can converse with you at any time, in any language. They'll understand verbal and nonverbal cues, display emotion and have ultra low-latency: essentially indistinguishable from real life.
We are gearing up to build the world's next computer interface and to pull this off we must accomplish:
voice-detection, ASR, turn-taking prediction, several LLM calls, TTS, expression generation, face rendering and much more—all within 500ms.
Where you come in
We need someone to go deep on audio-to-face generation and help us cross the uncanny valley.
Given the pace at which this field is moving, we want someone who is intellectually curious and can quickly go deep into new domains.
You will be responsible for the entire research pipeline:data processing, modelling, evaluation and deployment; so it's important you are both an independent researcher and confident engineer.
You will be working closely with Ben, technical cofounder, ex-Synthesia, along with Peter Roelants, ex-Twitter, an experienced research engineer.
You will also collaborate closely with our exceptional founding software engineers who will help you deploy your models at scale to be used by millions of users.
You haveComputer Vision experience.
Experience going deep on seq2seq tasks.
Experience building generative models, e.g. diffusion models, VAEs, GANs or LLMs.
Expertise in pytorch & python.
[Bonus] Direct experience on face-generation, lip-sync, 3DMMs.
[Bonus] Experience working with multi-modal generative models.
