Our client is a global logistics provider offering a range of freight solutions across the globe.

They are a growing presence in the UK market and are part of a wider group that are well established in the Americas, Asia and Australasia.

They are lookingto recruit a Business Development Manager to look after a growing geographical based from their Manchester Office.


The business are based near to Manchester Airport and are looking to expand the sales team operating from the office but covering the entire of the North from Birmingham upwards and into Scotland.

The role will be new business focused looking to generateopportunities across freight services. The role will be focused on securing meetings and opportunities with potential clients for Ocean and Air Freight solutions. The person will split their time between visiting clients and being based in the office. Additionallythere will be some account management once clients are converted.

The role will be based in their Manchester Office working Monday - Friday; 9am - 5.30pm.

On offer is an attractive base salary of £40,000 - £45,000 per annum along with a company car, laptop and mobile.

There is not a traditional sales bonus structure butthere is an annual team performance based bonus.
