    Title:
    Typist / Administrator

    Hours:

    Monday to Saturday 9am - 6pm with one day off during the week where a Saturday is worked fortnightly.


    Reports to:

    Manager Salary:
    £27,000 - £28,000
    Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays

    Location:
    Hybrid

    Overview:

    The Typist / Administrator's role is a key part of ensuring that the quality of our service is maintained.

    The majority of the time will be spent typing reports, but an important part of the role is also ensuring that clients' queries and bookings are dealt with in an efficient and professional way, and with a smile and can-do attitude.


    Job Description:
    Day to day:

    • Copy typing and audio typing reports
    • Dealing with enquiries, bookings, telephone calls and emails
    • Liaising with clerks in terms of directions and assisting in keeping clients up to date with regards to return of keys, points of contact etc.
    • Dealing with moving appointments around as required and as instructed by management
    • Liaising with and assisting our franchisees with queries and bookings
    • Checking every report for completeness, accuracy and consistency prior to sending to clients
    • Raising invoices
    • Sending reports and invoices to customers
    • Working closely with the rest of the team, assisting wherever needed.
    • Training new starters.
    • Dealing with any issues that arise during the day (transport/illness problems etc).
    • Taking telephone payments
    • Adhoc administrative tasks

    Role Requirements:
    You will need to be:

    • IT literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook
    • A typing speed of minimum 70 wpm with high accuracy
    • Great attention to detail
    • Be able I remain calm, polite and professional under pressure
    • Strong customer service skills and the mind set to be happy to go the extra mile
    • Confident communicator, both verbally and written, with good use of grammar and spelling
    • Selfsufficient in terms of dealing with issues and equally adept at raising issues to management as required
