The Company:


TEC Partners are pleased to be working with a leading technology company within the life science and point of care medical device sector.


Due to rapid growth and recent funding our clients are looking for a mechanical design engineer to join their engineering team with the aim to change how molecular diagnostics will impact how infectious diseases are managed at a point of care i.e GP, Pharmacy,etc.


Having recently transitioned from R&D stages through to low volume production, their medical device is now ready to hit the market.


The Role:


As a mechanical design engineer you will be working and contributing to the design, test and development of PoC PCR Systems and overall support with the product launch.


Working within the engineering team you will be responsible for the design and build of test fixtures, whilst working out ways to execute, develop and test prototypes.

Collecting and sharing the data as you go to help aid the further development of the final product.


Requirements:

Experienced with the use of CAD software (Solidworks)

Familiar with electromechanical systems

Ability to identify appropriate testing strategies, and then implement a plan to carry the tests out

Collate and collect the data from these tests, and share results within team via written reports
