    Job Summery

    The Technical Trainer will support the ARMS Site Resident Teams training and development. They will be required to design, develop, execute, and review training programmes.

    Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback and performance metrics.
    • Managing employee enrolment for training schedule training sessions and organising the resource to facilitate training programmes.
    • Design deliver and evaluate training modules covering mandatory WAH, MH and comprehensive asset training.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training materials are up to date and relevant.
    • Conduct training needs assessments and develop training plans accordingly.
    • Generate and train safe systems of work SSOW.
    • Successfully deliver training in a one to one or group environment
    • Evaluate all development / progression frameworks within engineering ensuring employees and line managers can achieve fully competent status.
    • Provide regular feedback to engineering management on developmental progression.
    • Support skill gap analysis for all technical engineering roles
    • Develop training manuals that target tangible results.
    • Technically support the site on breakdowns when required.
    • Support root cause and data analysis for facility improvements.

    Skills / Qualifications

    • Experience in Mechanical / Electrical Technical Training
    • strong organisation planning and time management skills
    • Knowledge of various training methods including coaching workshops classroom training mentoring and e-learning programmes
    • Strong presentation communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience in designing creating and implementing L&D strategies
    • Appropriate technical qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical engineering or development training
    • Efficient in Microsoft Office package

    Shift Pattern / Working Hours

    • The technical trainer shift rotor TBC but will include one weekend in full working
    • The role is site based with limited remote/ hybrid working.
    • Salary: TBC Depending on experience
