- Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, within the inpatient setting.
- Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
- Work directly with adults and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external mental health providers and acute hospitals
- Participate in the on-call rota frequency is currently 1:50, with a 3% of basic salary, Category A on-call supplement.
- Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
- Work alongside 1wte Consultant Psychiatrist, 1wte Specialty Doctor, Senior Trainee, 1wte Core Trainees, and 1wte Foundation Year trainee

We are currently recruiting to an Adult Consultant Psychiatrist position at Ogura Ward, Goodmayes Hospital, Barley Lane, Ilford, IG3 8XJ.
You will join another full-time Consultant Psychiatrist, 1wte Specialty Doctor, Senior Trainee, 1wte Core Trainees, and 1wte Foundation Year trainee, within the service, and will have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and models of design in the area in which you work.
