The Opportunity:

Nigel Wright are recruiting for an IT Technician to join a market leading SME industrial business based in Newcastle.

As part of the role you will be responsible for supporting the IT Infrastructure as well as working alongside outsourced IT providers to drive the successful delivery of IT projects and support.

This is an exciting opportuning for anyone who is looking to have an input in how the IT of a company looks moving forward.


The Role:


  • Support the IT Infrastructure
  • Liaise between third party support and the company
  • Create and manage users on the network
  • Installation and configuration of software and hardware
  • Embed and utilise the ticketing system
  • Manage IT documentation
  • Assist with training colleagues

Requirements:


  • O365 knowledge
  • Hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Networking knowledge
  • Windows server experience
  • Strong communications skills
  • Experience of being the sole point of contact in IT would be beneficial
