    Remote with travel to Glasgow

    Purpose of Role:

    The Programme Communications Lead will be responsible for leading the communications workstream to support change management and engagement within complex global organisational change programmes across Weir.

    Working in collaboration with stakeholders, you will devise and deliver impactful and effective change communications to support business transformation. For major programmes, you will work on a seconded basis as part of the programme team.

    In addition, you will be Weir's subject matter expert in change communications and will build capability and expertise that can be leveraged across the organisation.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Focus Area:
    Accountable for the development and delivery of the change communications strategy for business transformation programmes including delivery of high quality communications plans that cover multiple stakeholder groups.

    • Focus Area:
    Effective management of key stakeholders, including external partners, building relationships, developing a clear vision for change and engaging teams in that vision.

    • Focus Area:
    Leading the internal communications workstream of major change programmes, setting key milestones and appropriate measurement and evaluation.

    • Focus Area:
    Produce engaging content in multiple formats and multiple languages, incorporating story-telling, briefings and events to high editorial and design standards.

    Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

    • A proven track record of leading change communications in a multi-year global, organisation-wide business transformation, devising and executing communications plans
    • Ability to manage communications in a matrix organisation with multiple internal stakeholders
    • An excellent and persuasive communicator, including written skills, confident presentation skills and the ability to gain the respect of colleagues at all levels
    • Knowledge of Change management methodology is essential e.g. Prosci and qualification is desirable
