About the Role:


The HR Administrator will provide high quality administration, information and advice throughout the employee lifecycle whilst working closely with the HR Manager to implement and deliver the strategic People Plan.

This varied and fast-paced role provides exposure to the full breadth of generalist HR activity.

Alongside day-to-day HR administration there are opportunities for involvement in interesting project work to support of our aim of becoming an employer of choice.


This role will suit an organised, proactive and people-centric individual with a genuine passion for HR and a desire to grow their career.


Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver all new starter administration including offers, contracts, Right to Work checks, payroll instructions and requesting employment references.
  • Ensure a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience, including pre‐boarding activity and organising induction plans.
  • Produce standard HR correspondence including probation outcomes, contract changes, resignation acceptances, provision of employment references, etc.
  • Organise elearning and inperson training by liaising with L&D providers and delegates.
  • Support managers to keep probation reviews and Quarterly Reviews on track.
  • Ensure the HRIS and efiles are complete and up to date in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Provide accurate MI by running monthly reports, contributing to the analysis of people data and trends.
  • Provide payroll adjustments to the Finance team in line with monthly cut off dates.
  • Support internal communications by creating engaging materials to promote values, benefits, wellbeing and employee recognition programmes.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the People Plan, including ad hoc project work around culture, values, engagement, reward, L&D, EDI and wellbeing.
  • Propose and implement ideas to improve our EVP and promote our employment brand.
  • Role model the Company values and behaviours.

About You:

  • L3/L5 CIPD qualification is advantageous but study support is available.
  • IT literacy including HRIS, HR reporting, MS Office, Indeed, LinkedIn and ideally Canva or similar.
