We are hiring immediately for a Finance and Data and Reporting Lead - a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity, heating and cooling they need.

The Finance Data & Reporting team is a central team as part of the Aggreko Centre of Excellence. Primary responsibility is for the governance and maintenance oversight of the following data objects and systems for Finance and Procurement

What you'll do:
Governance structures and Policies

  • You will assist in the definition of global policies and standard data definitions to manage master data to be adopted by each region / BU/ company, based on clear understanding of what is required by the users and liaise with IT and Risk to define them and engage with the wider business stakeholders to ensure adoption
  • You will help to create a clear governance structure and process to ensure business ownership of data standards and data quality are implemented (i.e. standardised data governance with data treated as an asset)
Support and guidance

  • You will identify and manage data improvement initiatives and work with regional finance team to implement the initiatives
Reporting

  • Working with your manager you will curate with a library of standard finance and procurement reports to be used to deliver value and insight to business management
  • Operate the process for establishing new reports to ensure that they contain complete, accurate and timely data. Ensure development notes are in place and appropriate testing undertaken prior to release.
Compliance

  • You will operate the data quality compliance framework to allow meaningful, regular challenge to the business, identifying noncompliance, highlighting this through appropriate assurance channels and tracking remediation through to completion.
  • Provide regular reporting on nonconformance, identifying good practice and promoting this across the business.
We're experts, which means you'll have the following skills and experience:

  • You will have experience working within master data management and governance
  • You will have a strong knowledge of best practice in master data management, with experience working with "golden record" of data on single ERP system (e.g. Infor, SAP, Oracle) and the standardisation of data definitions and process
  • Proven ability in conveying technical information to a nontechnical audience in a clear and understandable way
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and PowerPoint) and Power BI
