Description
Behaviour Management Support needed for a unit in Newcastle, supporting the management of pupils' behaviour outside of the classroom.

You will ensure these secondary aged pupils are making their way to lessons, ensuring they aren't misbehaving in the corridors,not playing truant etc.

The ideal person will have experience of managing behaviour, will be resilient and good sense of humour.

Previous experience of youths demonstrating challenging behaviour and a proven track record of using de-escalation methods successfully, would be great.

A sporting background, with the ability to engage pupils in sports and use sport as a behaviour management tool. Experience within basketball, football and/or rugby is particularly desirable.
Roles available with an immediate start if you have a DBS on the updateservice.
