Description
This organisation is currently growing its consultancy team to meet the rising demand for its front end 'cyber as a service' capability, due to the increased demand in its managed services that it currently offers.
They help clients to understand their cyberthreat by undertaking a range of cyber assessments, providing project support and acting as cyber managers & executives as required.
Now looking to employ a Technical Cyber Consultant who will bring experience, knowledge, and an engaging way of working to all existing and new consulting opportunities.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to the Head of Consultancy for all scheduled and new consultancy engagements and projects.
- Undertake Cyber Assessments and Consultancy Engagements for Clients as an individual, a team member, or as a team lead where required.
- Adapt and improve existing processes used within the Consulting Team to bring further efficiencies.
- Support all cyber consulting projects and the wider Engineering and SOC Teams
- Where required develop client cyber roadmaps and implement recommendations.
- Provide feedback and support the Service Delivery function.
- Ensure we uphold our role as 'Trusted Advisors' to our clients.
Essential
- 3+ years in a Technical Security Manager Role or Security Consulting
- Experience of both Programme and Project Management
- Knowledge of the ISO 27001 framework and associated auditing experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of cyber technical controls that includes UK Cyber Essentials, NIST, CIS, NCSC CAF and others.
Desirable
- Degree level or equivalent education
- Presenting and training experience
- Incident Response experience
- CISSP, CISM or CISA certified
