We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Supervisor to join our team at HMP Winchester.

Role Overview:

As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing the shift to deliver planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, and other support services to meet the short-term and long-term goals and objectives of the site.

This role involves managing customer interface within a designated area of the estate, ensuring a high profile in the day-to-day running of the site, and maintaining a consistent strong link with customers to address any concerns effectively and responsively.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the shift to deliver planned and reactive maintenance activities.
Maintain a high profile in the daytoday running of the site.
Manage customer interface within a designated area of the estate.
Ensure appropriate and responsive reaction to address any client concerns.
Foster excellent customer relationships and manage suppliers effectively.
Contribute positively to the performance of the business by engendering a culture of customer care.
Deputize for a Site Manager/Deputy Site Manager as required.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a mechanical maintenance environment.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent customer relationship management and supplier management abilities.
Ability to obtain correct security clearance as the role is based within a prison environment.
