    We are looking for a qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience accounting finance team member with strong attention to detail and technical knowledge, experience in forecasting, budgeting and reporting, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively with colleagues at all levels.

    Business partnering for project research and overhead departments providing expert financial advice, support and analysis to enable budget holders to manage budgets
    Reviewing and approving project bids and supporting non-finance colleagues with costing queries
    Preparing regular project financial reforecasts when necessary
    Providing financial analysis to project research teams
    Assisting with the financial forecasting and supporting yearly budget process
    Updating project forecasts in finance accounting system
    Uploading monthly Management information data to external partners
    Completion of contract expenditure statements for grant clients
    Supporting the development and implementation of best financial practices
    Preparing and contributing to internal training on financial controls and procedures for non-finance colleagues
    Dealing with requests for general data and any ad hoc duties.
    Good excel skills.
    Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality.
    Actively conform to the legislative and procedural requirements in relation to the collection, management, storage and destruction of data
