    Job Type:
    Permanent, Monday Friday, 06.30am pm

    Key Responsibilities:

    Manage and supervise all aspects of site production, including sorting, processing, and packaging of recycled materialsEnsure and promote high compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policiesEstablish a positive and motivated work culture and environmentLead and mentor a team of operational staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and qualityMonitor production schedules and resource allocation to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.

    Coordinate with other departments such as logistics, maintenance, and safety to achieve company goals and objectivesForecast and plan annual/monthly budgets and generate reports for departments leads, predicting future requirements and suggesting strategies to tackle these and optimise production efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce operating costsTake a cost-effective approach by meeting or exceed production volumes and keep production costs minimalEnsure equipment safety/reliability through training and assessmentsRequirements:Bachelors Degree in science engineering, business management, or a related field preferredProven extensive experience in a manufacturing or production management role, preferably within the recycling industryExperience in managing a team, with the ability to motivate and inspire to achieve top resultsSolid understanding of production processes, equipment, and technology used in recyclingKnowledge of safety regulations/legislation and best practices in industrial environmentsMechanical and electrical knowledge and experience is also highly beneficialProficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
