_ Hours: __37.5 hours per week_**Groundwork London are looking for two Senior Community Project Officers (SCPO) to join the London community team.
One post will work primarily on community engagement and green space improvement projects and the second on refugee and migrant social integration programmes.

The Groundwork London Community team empowers residents, stakeholders and grassroots groups to build their confidence, skill and capabilities to become agents of change.
We co-create exciting engagement strategies with communities, partners and clients to establish vibrant open spaces that meet the needs of communities.
We deliver a wide range of social integration projects with refugees, migrants, and older adults to build social connections, improve wellbeing and health or promote active lifestyles.
Our education programme delivers wide-ranging workshops on community gardening, green economy and climate change.As a SCPO, you will design and deliver multi-faceted projects across London.
You will work on a range of projects including:
- Delivering environmental and social regeneration projects in the community (such as green space improvements and community gardens.)
- Delivering informal training in capacity building with community groups.
- Engaging London's diverse communities in community / cultural activity sessions (such a socially isolated, refugees and migrants and older people.)
- Climate adaptation research and education projects.
The SCPO will be responsible for all elements of project management, including client liaison, M&E, budgets and project team coordination and leadership.
All team members work on projects across London, however a local office base will be provided in Waterloo / Angel.
Please contact us if you are:
- Experienced project manager, including budget management.
- Experienced in designing and delivering participatory and deliberative processes.
- Experience working on a range of community projects, in any of the following themes: community work, education, sustainability, integration, environmental work or regeneration.
- Experience in planning and delivering community activity sessions for migrant communities, such as food growing, cooking, gardening, getting active, wellbeing and traditional crafts.
- Passionate about empowering residents, stakeholders and grassroots groups to build their confidence, skill and capabilities to become agents of change
- Excellent organisational skills that can be used to manage and deliver a range of projects concurrently.
