    About the Role

    The Account Executive role in our GB Retail team is responsible for providing advice and taking the lead on our multinational complex accounts. As the team continues to grow this experienced hire will be there to assist key clients and support the well-established GB Retail team.

    Our many years of experience working with specialists in several different industries have enabled us to develop a robust and proven ability for service delivery, advice and tailored coverage to address the varied insurance needs of our clients and their interests, including innovative areas of cover.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identifying and engaging with new business prospects to produce new clients for Lockton
    • Overall relationship management and retention responsibility for large, complex client accounts.
    • Leading the strategic direction of assigned accounts.
    • Responsibility and accountability for the global service delivery across client portfolio.
    • Lockton IP knowledge management – targeted distribution of Lockton material and utilising breadth of sector expertise to build effective RFP's
    • Maintenance and development of Salesforce records
    • Execution of the Fee Agreement and internal Lockton revenue negotiation
    • Overseeing and agreeing the Value Added Services strategy
    • Oversight of Stewardship and Key Performance Indicator review meetings
    • Management and chairing of client meetings
    • Management of the Issuance of Fee Agreements
    • Acting as a trusted advisor and business partner for our clients
    • Networking with broaden Lockton colleagues to collaborate across disciplines to identify added services that drive revenue growth
    • Expert understanding of the relevant classes of business.
    • Ability to identify opportunities for business development and pursue with success.
    • Ability build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and associates.
    • Ability to prepare an execute strategic direction and thought leadership.
    • Strong leadership skills and ability to delegate as appropriate.
    • Exceptional presentation skills in both preparation and execution.
    • Professional and tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.
