    What you'll do

    The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of interesting client accounts, including global industrial automation, commercial vehicle, and warehouse automation companies. We are ideally looking for a German speaker as we are covering a growing portfolio of clients with operations in mainland Europe. This role is ideally suited to a recent graduate or someone with up to a year's experience in a similar role.

    The ideal candidate will be highly organized and comfortable working in both English and German, with confidence speaking in both languages on the phone. They will have a strong level of written English and German in order to produce high quality communications and will be comfortable analyzing data to report the results of campaigns to our clients. You will also be required to assist the account manager with general administrative duties such as maintaining media lists, our CRM system and project planning tools.

    The role is focused on building relationships with trade media journalists and outlets by phone and via email in order to generate top media coverage for our clients. The successful candidate will also organise and attend media briefings with our clients and the journalists. Overall, you will be required to maintain a positive profile for our clients. There will also be opportunities for getting involved with the creative side of campaign and content creation for clients.

    We will provide an extensive program of training and induction to ensure you learn the skills needed to work confidently and make this role a success.

    What we're looking for

    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work at pace
    • A proactive approach to work
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple clients/projects at once
    • Competent writing skills, with the ability to understand and write about technical subjects
    • Some prior knowledge of digital media and/or PR and marketing is an advantage — including socials and SEO (ideal but not required, full training will be provided)
    • Confidence to communicate professionally with clients, journalists and colleagues in both written and verbal forms.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • A dedicated, ambitious and motivated individual.
    • Fluency in German would be an advantage but is not essential
