Working in a 22-bed facility providing specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for individuals with intricate long-term neurological conditions, particularly focusing on neuro-rehabilitation, tracheostomy, and ventilator care.

Duties:

Demonstrating expert proficiency in managing intricate cases, cultural and linguistic disparities, and devising suitable strategies for caseload management. Conducting audits and contributing to research in treatment provisions. Possessing specialist knowledge in acquired communication and swallowing disorders.

Requirements:

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Experience in handling a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia. Experience in collaborating with families.
