Due to these plans, they are looking for an Assistant Buyer who can support the Buyers.

As the Purchasing Assistant you will get the opportunity to play a key part in supporting the buyers with researching new ranges, sourcing suppliers and you will have the amazing opportunity to develop the role and take the lead in some ranges, giving you amazing career development prospects. You'll be getting involved in meeting suppliers so will really increase your knowledge within that market and develop your negation skills with support from the more experienced members of the team.

They have some exciting plans for the future and have already made a reputable name for themselves in their niche market.

Existing product knowledge isn't important as this can be learnt and once you start delving into this market you will quickly come to understand there is more than meets the eye

What experience will you need?

You will already have experience and exposure to a purchasing role, whether that be Purchasing Administrator / Purchasing Assistant / Assistant Buyer / Junior Buyer, and you will be a naturally driven individual with a keen eye for spotting a market opportunity.

You will be a confident communicator who isn't afraid to be curious, ask questions and dig for information.
