The Opportunity

Summary of Role:


What does the role entail?

  • Project managing a pan European joint venture between an OEM and banking partner to establish a captive finance solution
  • Defining the strategy and undertaking the business transformation to enable a luxury OEM to offer 'Advanced Driver' features via a new subscription business
  • Supporting a commercial EV scale up to match their customerfacing operational model with the strategic target experiences
  • Helping an Auto Importer and Distributor to build new CRM integrations with their OEM partners and explore potential DMS changes to support business expansion
  • Working to integrate Cyber Security governance into the development lifecycle of an OEM's offboard products team

In addition to client delivery work the Senior Consultant will have an opportunity to be at the forefront of growing our Automotive practice through both business and service line development initiatives


This can involve:


  • Creation and ownership of new delivery propositions
  • Supporting business development through developing proposals and supporting client sales opportunities
  • Developing and delivering in Marketing and Thought Leadership content and campaigns

Requirements:


  • Alignment with BearingPoint's cultural pillars: Easy to Work With; Empowering People; Delivering Outcomes
  • Strong knowledge and experience of project delivery covering core consulting domains: e.g. digital transformation, product management, business strategy, process excellence, business analysis, customer experience or technology delivery
  • Previous consulting or business change experience is a plus, ideally in a top tier management consulting organisation, or significant transformation experience from an Automotive background
  • Ability to shape new offerings, building on to the current BearingPoint services
  • Demonstrate a highlevel of understanding of how and where transformational thinking can create competitive advantage through business change
  • Ability to develop good relationships with senior business leaders
  • A demonstrable passion for business transformation, change and emerging technologies
  • A demonstrable passion for the Automotive industry
  • A creative approach to problem solving, demonstrable intellectual curiosity
  • Effective communication skills, excellent business writing and confidence in presenting
  • Ability to make deliverables and sales material tell a story in a logical and structured way
  • A selfstarter mentality comfortable working in a dynamic, fastchanging environment
