    Description

    About the Role: We are currently recruiting for a Commodities Account Manager on behalf of our client, a leading distributor in the commodities industry.

    Based in Burton-on-Trent, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all distribution sales of commodity products and services in a defined geographic area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and develop new customers within the specified geographic area.
    • Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through effective planning and development of current and new accounts.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Commodities to establish realistic sales goals for the area.
    • Manage the assigned geographic sales area to maximise sales revenues.
    • Conduct regular visits to the customer base and maintain visit reports.
    • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales for the specified area.
    • Develop specific plans to ensure sales growth of all company products in the area.
    • Liaise with colleagues on market activity and development.
    • Promote the client's brand across the specified geographical area.

    Requirements:

    • Degree educated in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
    • Previous sales experience preferred.
    • Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
    • Proven ability to manage relationships and drive sales growth.

    Benefits:

    • Full-time hours: 9 am to 5 pm – hybrid working.
    • Competitive salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum plus bonus.
