Accounts Assistant | Telford Area | c£27,000 + excellent Benefits | Permanent

The Company


Seymour John are working in partnership with a business who are looking to hire into a newly created role based at their Telford facility.


The Opportunity


A varied role, where the main responsibilities will be managing the full cycle of the purchase ledger function alongside one other purchase ledger assistant.


Additional duties are outline below:

  • Log purchase invoices, matching to PO and coding to ledger.
  • Prepare weekly supplier payment runs via BACs and occasional manual payments.
  • Bank reconciliations and posting cash
  • Supporting the Assistant Accountant with costing of new products, gross margin reconciliations and uploading new products on to the system

Assisting with the following tasks:


  • Cash Flow/Treasury
  • Reporting of intercompany netting and reconciliation
  • Payment practice reporting
  • VAT Return
  • Intercompany payments and receipts
