Responsibilities:

• Implement cutting-edge data engineering concepts and databases, including generative AI and vector databases.
• Develop data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and enriching data from diverse sources.
• Construct data models to facilitate business decision-making and analytics.
• Collaborate across teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions through the complete software development lifecycle.
• Write efficient and sustainable code to maintain data pipelines and models.
• Contribute to building scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Participate in design and code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or related field.
• Proficient in programming languages essential to data engineering, like Python.
• Extensive knowledge of data modeling, including SQL, NoSQL, Graph, and Vector databases.
• Interest in adopting new data engineering trends, such as generative AI and vector databases.
• Hands-on experience with data platforms, integration tools, data warehouses, and analytics in a Cloud environment, preferably Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and agile methodologies preferred.
