Job Posting Summary Leads the Finance function for United Kingdom and Ireland (UKIE) cluster, through effective financial management, and business partnering insights, to ensure the achievement of commercial goals and enable cross-functional stakeholders. Responsible for establishing comprehensive understanding of financial targets, and business performance, through local forecasting, budgeting and reporting, Maintains compliance with existing fiscal and civil regulations, as well as with specific company policies and accounting principles. Main Accountabilities
    • Sets financial goals and targets
    • Prepares financial forecasts, including: P&L and cash flow
    • Evaluates and manages financial performance
    • Advises and challenges commercial business partners with timely and proactive analyses, assessments of variances to the plans
    • Informs of any unexpected issues with potential to impact the financial performance of the business in a timely manner
    • Proposes and implements proactive corrective actions
    • Leads and performs budget and business plan processes
    • Conducts statutory reporting
    • Implements robust financial policy, internal guidelines, instructions, processes and systems
    • Adheres to IFRS standards, local fiscal and finance-related regulations (and others if applicable), across all entities
    • Supports local requirements to implement programs, processes or procedures to consistent with Corporate Finance initiatives
    • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and proposes standardized and co-ordinated use of financial information systems, and identifies optimisation measures
    • Builds and adapts the Finance team including hiring, training, coaching, assessing and managing performance, ensuring organisational effectiveness, process optimisation and KPIs to measure impact
    • Champions people development and engagement, effective performance management including
    Qualifications
    • Education : Advanced university degree in (MSc, MBA) Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business with a focus on a financial discipline
    • Experience: 10+ years' progressive experience in Finance, including multinational environments, preferably international, and/or within the pharmaceutical sector
    • Progressive leadership responsibilities, including: business partnering, people management, team engagement and talent development
    • Understanding of local financial regulations, and healthcare environment, for both UK & Ireland considered an asset

    • Possesses advanced computer skills (MS Office and Teams, Finance systems, and adept to learn other business software applications)
