Our client is a global manufacturing business who is looking to bolster its Finance function by recruiting for a Management Accountant.

Reporting to the Site Financial Controller, the post holder will be responsible for applying the financial policy defined by the Group
Key contribution into the weekly, monthly and quarterly accounting cycle
Analysing and preparing financial information for presentation to financial and non-financial staff
Carrying out management control for the activities in their scope

Help consolidate the management of the Group's accounts and ensure the reliability and application of the Group's management procedures and standards.

As well as weekly cost reporting, the Management Accountant will act as Project Manager for specific projects, such as ERP implementation, news sites, site reorganisation, financial team reorganisation and cash/WCR optimisation etc.

Ideally degree qualified or equivalent in a Finance related course
Qualified by experience or close to completing profession accounting qualifications in either ACCA, ACA or CIMA
Experience in cost accounting

The role is offered on a permanent basis, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in their Peterlee office.
